LANSING, Michigan, April 4 -- The Michigan Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chair Lavora Barnes regarding sexist remarks made by Michigan House Speaker Lee Chatfield, R-Levering, about Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Attorney General Dana Nessel during a radio interview:
