LANSING, Michigan, April 2 -- The Michigan Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chair Lavora Barnes regarding announcement by the Democratic National Committee that Michigan will host the Democratic presidential debate set for July 30-31, 2019:
"The road to the White House runs through Michigan, and we are pleased that our partners at the Democratic National Committee have decided to hold one of our party's all-important presidential debates here.
