ANNAPOLIS, Maryland, March 15 -- The Maryland Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chair Maya Rockeymoore Cummings responding to the terrorist attack in Christchurch, New Zealand:

"The Maryland Democratic Party condemns the terrorist attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. As we learn more about what transpired, our hearts and minds remain with the victims and their loved ones.
