MADISON, Wisconsin, March 11 -- The Wisconsin Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chair Martha Laning on the news that DNC Chairman Tom Perez has selected Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to host its 2020 National Convention:
"We couldn't be more thrilled that the DNC has chosen Milwaukee to host its 2020 convention. From the lakeshore to its bustling city streets, Milwaukee is a vibrant working-class city that represents so much of what makes our nation great.
