AUGUSTA, Maine, March 4 -- The Maine Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chair Kathleen Marra:
On Saturday, Maine Democratic Party Chair Kathleen Marra announced to the Democratic State Committee that Executive Director Katie Mae Simpson will be stepping back from the role. Lisa Roberts, currently serving as MDP's Deputy Director, will begin her tenure as Executive Director immediately.
