TOPEKA, Kansas, Feb. 14 -- The Kansas Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chair John Gibson on his decision not to seek re-election:
"I was proud to be elected Chair of the Kansas Democratic Party at Washington Days in 2017. I was even more honored to lead Kansas Democrats during one of the most critical elections of my lifetime. I wouldn't trade these past two years for all of the world, but I also know that now is the time for me to step back from the job . . .
