WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 -- The office of Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith, R-Mississippi, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.) today voted to confirm William P. Barr to be the nation's next Attorney General of the United States.
Hyde-Smith, who met with Barr prior to the confirmation vote, expressed confidence in Barr's qualifications to lead the U.S. Department of Justice.
