MONTGOMERY, Alabama, Jan. 24 -- The Alabama Republican Party issued the following statement by Chairman Terry Lathan regarding Sen. Doug Jones' no vote to end the government shutdown:
"It is extremely disappointing to see Senator Doug Jones vote no to end the government shutdown and secure our borders.
