COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 23 -- The Ohio Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chairman David Pepper on the election of the Ohio House Democrats' leadership team including State Rep. Emilia Sykes as democratic leader, Rep. Kristin Boggs as assistant leader, Rep. Kent Smith as democratic whip and Rep. Paula Hicks-Hudson as assistant whip:
