TALLAHASSEE, Florida, Jan. 22 -- The Florida Democratic Party issued the following statement:
FDP Chair Terrie Rizzo released the following statement, after Governor Ron DeSantis appointed Carlos Muniz to Florida's Supreme Court:
"It's extremely concerning that for the first time in decades Florida will not have have an African American justice. From his appointment it's clear that Ron DeSantis has no respect for the rule of the law, and is seeking . . .
