AKRON, Ohio, Dec. 11 -- Akron Community Foundation issued the following news release:
Akron Community Foundation's Millennium Fund for Children recently awarded 31 grants totaling $43,750 to children's programs throughout Greater Akron. The community foundation's board of directors ratified the grants at its Dec. 7 meeting, bringing the fund's cumulative grantmaking to more than $750,000.
