WASHINGTON, Dec. 7 -- Rep. Robert Latta, R-Ohio, issued the following statement on the 77th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor:
"Just before 8 a.m. on December 7, 1941, Imperial Japanese forces launched an attack on Pearl Harbor that cost thousands of lives and plunged the United States into World War II. Seventy-seven years to the day, we honor the lives lost and remember their sacrifice.
