WASHINGTON, Dec. 1 -- The office of Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Missouri, issued the following statement on the death of President George H.W. Bush:
"George H.W. Bush had the best qualities of his generation; stand up straight and take responsibility, share the credit and take the blame.
"He loved his country and served it with capacity, modesty and dignity. His mastery of foreign policy was most evident as the Soviet Union collapsed and Eastern Europe moved toward dem . . .
