WASHINGTON, Dec. 1 -- Rep. John Moolenaar, R-Michigan, issued the following statement regarding the death of George H.W. Bush, the 41st President of the U.S.:
"President Bush began his service to the American people on his 18th birthday when he joined the military and heroically served as a naval aviator during World War II. In government, he represented our nation at the U.N., directed the CIA, and served as vice president.
