WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 -- Rep. Marc Veasey, D-Texas, issued the following statement:
"Today the world lost a leader and a countryman. George H. W. Bush personified all the traits of a Texan - willing to work together, show restraint when necessary, make tough decisions for the betterment of all Americans, and demonstrate deep loyalty to country.
"We honor his memory and his family through their time of mourning and celebration of life." . . .
