WASHINGTON, Dec. 1 -- Rep. Richard E. Neal, D-Massachusetts, ranking Democratic member of the House Ways and Means Committee, issued the following statement on the death of President George H.W. Bush at age 94 in Houston, Texas:
"George Herbert Walker Bush led a long and distinguished life serving the country he loved with great distinction. He was a soldier, diplomat and statesman who was the product of the "Greatest Generation."
