LOUISVILLE, Kentucky, Dec. 1 -- The office of Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, issued the following statement on the death of the President George H.W. Bush:
"Elaine and I join the Senate and the nation in grieving the loss of President George H. W. Bush.
