WASHINGTON, Nov. 9 -- Rep. Joe Wilson, R-South Carolina, issued the following statement announcing his candidacy to be the Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee:
"Despite all our hard work over the past two years, Tuesday did not pan out the way any of us would have liked. As we examine what went wrong, I know that if we take the right steps now, we will take back the majority in 2020.
