OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, Nov. 8 -- The Oklahoma Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chair Tom Perez on the shooting at the Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks, California:
"This is not normal. This was not inevitable. Again our hearts are broken by tragedy. Again, we mourn as a nation for the victims and their families. And again we are grateful to the first responders who put themselves in harm's way to save lives. But as we seek to offer what comfort . . .
