MADISON, Wisconsin, Nov. 5 -- The Wisconsin Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chair Martha Laning on the death of Phil Neuenfeldt, Wisconsin American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations's former president:
"It is with deep sadness we say goodbye to a friend of workers and Democrats statewide.
"Wisconsin's working people couldn't have had a better advocate than Phil -- he was right there beside us leading . . .
