MONTGOMERY, Alabama, Oct. 14 -- The Alabama Republican Party issued the following statement by Chairman Terry Lathan on role as a co-chair for the alliance for a Pro-Life Alabama:

"I am honored to serve as a co-chair for the Alliance for a Pro-life Alabama. I look forward to working with my fellow co-chairs, Public Service Commission President Twinkle Cavanaugh and former Alabama State Representative Mary Sue McClurkin, to encourage all Alabamians to vote yes on Amendment 2.
