WASHINGTON, Oct. 10 -- Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Maryland, issued the following floor remarks on the death of ex-Sen. Joe Tydings, D-Maryland:
"Mr. President, I would like to take this opportunity to talk about a man whose lifelong commitment to progressive causes has had an enormous positive impact on Maryland, and on the United States: former United States Senator from Maryland, Joseph D.
