LANSING, Michigan, Oct. 6 -- The Michigan Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chair Brandon Dillon regarding Judge Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation to the Supreme Court:
"Not only has Brett Kavanaugh been credibly accused of sexual assault, he clearly does not have the impartiality needed to be a fair and independent Supreme Court justice.
"From the start, this entire process was a sham backed by Republican special interests to push their age . . .
