HARTFORD, Connecticut, Oct. 6 -- Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, D-Connecticut, issued the following statements with Connecticut Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman on the final vote confirming the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to serve on the Supreme Court:

Governor Malloy said, "The Republican Party today showed its true colors, disregarding powerful testimony from Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and voting to promote a man credibly accused of sexual assault to a lifetime appointment on the highest . . .
