LINCOLN, Nebraska, Oct. 1 -- The Nebraska Democratic Party issued the following news release:
For the first time in the history of the Nebraska Democratic Party, slate cards were mailed to voters across the state today listing, by county, the more than 850 Democratic candidates running for offices in the November election.
