WASHINGTON, Sept. 24 -- Rep. Dave Brat, R-Virginia, issued the following news release:
This morning, Reps. Dave Brat (VA-07) and Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11) introduced a bill titled the "Congressional Award Program Reauthorization Act of 2018." The bill would reauthorize Congress' only charity for 5 more years through October 1, 2023. The program was previously set to end on October 1, 2018.
