COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 19 -- The Ohio Democratic Party issued the following news:
As state lawmakers were debating Senate Bill (SB) 5 attacks on working people in 2011, state Sen. Frank LaRose (R-Hudson) met with constituents to tell them he would not support the bill stripping working people of their rights. One week later, however, LaRose cast the deciding vote in favor of the legislation. Ohio voters overwhelmingly rejected SB 5 later that year.
