CONCORD, New Hampshire, Sept. 18 -- The New Hampshire Republican Party issued the following statement by Chairman Wayne MacDonald:
"The press conference by Senate Democrats was a failed attempt to achieve two things. One, to try keep voters' attention away from the successful job creation agenda of Governor Sununu and the Republican Majority in the legislature: one that balanced the budget without any new or increased taxes and one that reduced the tax burdens on our state . . .
