MADISON, Wisconsin, Sept. 12 -- The Wisconsin Democratic Party issued the following statement by spokesperson Courtney Beyer on Brad Schimel's latest ad:
"Under Brad Schimel's watch, opioid-related deaths have spiked 43 percent. Emergency room visits for suspected overdoses have risen a staggering 109 percent.
"When credible analysis suggested big pharma was to blame for the opioid crisis, Brad Schimel looked the other way and refused to join bipart . . .
