Last week, Ray Zaborney, a media consultant for the Wagner campaign, sent a transphobic meme to a group text with top level Wagner campaign staffers, including campaign manager Jason High. Despite calls for Wagner to immediately fire Zaborney for his transphobic actions and High for refusing to denounce Zaborney, Wagner has refused to do so.
