TUCKER, Georgia, Sept. 6 -- The U.S. Poultry Foundation issued the following news release:
The USPOULTRY Foundation awarded a $6,620 student recruitment grant to the University of Delaware's Department of Animal and Food Sciences. The grant was made possible in part from an endowing Foundation gift from Valley Proteins. The grant check was presented by Michael Smith, vice president at Valley Proteins, to Dr. Robert Alphin, student advisor.
