ASPCA Assists Pierce County Sheriff's Office in Seizing More Than 1,300 Animals in Wisconsin Cruelty Case

PIERCE COUNTY, Wisconsin, Sept. 6 -- The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals issued the following news release:

At the request of the Pierce County Sheriff's Office, the ASPCA(R) (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals(R)) is assisting with evidence collection and the removal of more than 1,300 animals from a property believed to be associated with dogfighting and cockfighting in Gilman Township, Wis.
