WASHINGTON, Aug. 23 -- The Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities issued the following statement by President Peter McPherson on the research security concerns that National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins raised in testimony before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee:
