WASHINGTON, Aug. 23 -- The office of Sen. Martin Heinrich, D-New Mexico, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Senators Tom Udall (D-N.M.) and Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) and U.S. Representative Ben Ray Lujan (D-N.M.) announced that Navajo Technical University (NTU) was awarded $667,909 by the National Science Foundation to improve broadband connectivity for Native students, expanding access to educational opportunities and workforce training throughout the region.
