MADISON, Wisconsin, Aug. 22 -- The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction issued the following news release:
State Superintendent Tony Evers congratulated Sandra Kowalczyk for being named a 2018 Educator of the Year by the Association for Middle Level Education. Kowalczyk, a reading specialist at Patrick Marsh Middle School in Sun Prairie, will receive the award during the association's annual conference Oct. 25-27 in Orlando, Fla.
