DECATUR, Alabama, Aug. 22 -- Calhoun Community College issued the following news release:
Alan Watkins, assistant baseball coach at Calhoun Community College, will lead the college's team in the interim as a search takes place for a permanent replacement for former head baseball coach Mike Burns, who recently resigned to accept a position with Decatur City Schools.
Entering his third season as part of the Calhoun baseball program, Watkins helped lead the Warhawks 2 . . .
