WASHINGTON, Aug. 22 -- The Senate Indian Affairs Committee issued the following testimony by Jeannie Hovland, commissioner of the Administration for Native Americans within the Administration for Children and Families, at a hearing entitled "Examining Efforts to Maintain and Revitalize Native Languages for Future Generations":
