WASHINGTON, Aug. 20 -- Rep. Gary Palmer, R-Alabama, issued the following news release:
Congressman Gary Palmer (R-AL) announced a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) that will be shared by Center Point Fire, Trussville Fire, Springville Fire, and Fultondale Fire. The grant is for $364,003 and will be used to purchase and implement the Polycom system, which will allow for the delivery of distance training and education.
