NATCHITOCHES, Louisiana, July 31 -- Northwestern State University issued the following news release:
A Shreveport couple established scholarships at three different universities in Louisiana, including Northwestern State University, to benefit deserving students.
The Scurlock Family Scholarship, created through a donation to the NSU Foundation from Ray and Melba Scurlock, will be awarded to a full-time student in good standing with a 2.5 or better grade point average. F . . .
