Rajasthan Has Used Only 12 Per Cent of Its District Mineral Foundation (DMF) Allocation, Says CSE's Latest Analysis

NEW DELHI, India, July 31 -- The Centre for Science and Environment issued the following news release:

Likethe other mining states, Rajasthan too seems to have its priorities wrong when it comes to allocation of DMF funds. Building of infrastructure takes the lion's share. The Rs 2.8 crore allocation to health is too miniscule to make any real difference to the issue of inadequate access to healthcare in the district.
