BEREA, Kentucky, June 4 -- Berea College issued the following news release:
Jim Branscome '68 and Lavoyed Hudgins will receive the Distinguished Alumnus Award and the Honorary Alumnus Award, respectively, during the College's Summer Reunion Alumni Awards Presentation on June 9. Distinguished alumnus awards are given to College alumni who have achieved distinction in their chosen field and who, by application of principles fostered at Berea, have done much to enrich the liv . . .
