HONOLULU, Hawaii, June 4 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:
On May 8, 2018, President Donald J. Trump issued a major disaster declaration for the State of Hawaii triggering the release of Federal funds, specifically Public Assistance and the Hazard Mitigation Grant Programs, from severe storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides that occurred April 13-16, 2018.
