ROANOKE, West Virginia, June 1 -- Appalachian Power issued the following news release:
Appalachian Power has announced plans to improve electric reliability and increase economic development opportunities by building new electric facilities in the Botetourt Center at Greenfield in Botetourt County, Va.
The Botetourt Substation project will comprise a new 138-kilovolt (kV) substation, approximately 3 miles of new distribution line and a small section of transmission line . . .
