GALVESTON, Texas, May 31 -- The University of Texas Medical Branch issued the following news release:
When the 2018 School of Medicine graduates walk in to receive their degrees at Moody Gardens, they will be led by the university's ceremonial mace, a symbol of academia dating back to medieval times.
