MONTGOMERY, Alabama, May 30 -- Gov. Kay Ivey, R-Alabama, issued the following news release:

Governor Kay Ivey on Wednesday announced the Alabama Sentry Program which provides for an additional security measure in schools that do not have a School Resource Officer (SRO).
