ATLANTA, Georgia, May 24 -- The Georgia Department of Labor issued the following news release:
Georgia Labor Commissioner Mark Butler said Thursday that Atlanta had mixed job numbers for the month of April as the state saw generally down numbers for several cities.
In Atlanta, the April unemployment rate fell while the number of jobs increased slightly for the month. However, those gains were somewhat offset by a large drop in the labor force and a modest drop in employ . . .
