WASHINGTON, May 18 -- The office of Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-New York, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer and U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand today announced $2,886,147 in federal funding for Head Start and Early Head Start programs throughout the Capital Region. Specifically, the Schenectady Community Action Program will receive $1,575,489 for Head Start, and the Schoharie County Child Development Council, Inc. will receive $1,310,65 . . .
