WASHINGTON, May 17 -- The American Constitution Society for Law and Policy issued the following statement by President Caroline Fredrickson on the anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education decision:
"We applaud the civil rights advocates who today announced a lawsuit aiming to diversify New Jersey's public schools. Because of patterns of persistent residential segregation, New Jersey's schools are among the least integrated in the country.
