LOS ANGELES, California, May 17 -- California Charter Schools Association issued the following news release:
State Superintendent of Public Instruction (SPI), Tom Torlakson, recently announced the Multicultural Learning Center (MLC) Independent Charter School has been recognized as the only Los Angeles County public school to qualify for the prestigious distinction of being named a California Model Program and recipient of the state's 2018 Education for a Global Economy Award.< . . .
