WASHINGTON, May 17 -- Rep. Vicente Gonzalez, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) announced that the Office of Head Start, within the Administration for Children and Families, has awarded the Hidalgo County Head Start Program $13,254,121 in program funding. This grant will help implement comprehensive child development programs that prepare young students, ages three to four, from low-income families for pre-school.
